In the past decade, India has steadily moved up the Software value chain; from low level cost arbitrage services to value added services, to outsourced product development, to product companies. One problem faced by the industry is the shortage of product managers and decision makers who have a good understanding of user experience design issues. Consequently, in most cases, user design experience is reduced to selecting font and color.
The Jed-i Weekend program on User Experience Design is a two day program that provides a vocabulary and a systematic framework to discuss design and make meaningful decisions. The course is a must for product managers, lead programmers, and decision makers who want to make a meaningful transition to addressing the challenges of design in their daily work. The two day course will cover the design principles, evaluation methods, information visualization amongst other things.
